We’re glad to announce that Definix has been completely audited by CertiK Audits, the famous auditor in the industry. We’ve worked together with CertiK to make Definix codes secured the most and the result is impressive.

Various crypto-related platforms with reliability will draw attention and confidence to traders, it would be nearly impossible to know whether an external smart contract or function is secure enough to call without risking assets and information stored on the blockchain.

The CertiK Chain is responsible for providing a more versatile way for users to investigate smart contracts and how should they interact with others based on how secure the platform is.

Why CertiK? — Provable Trust For All

CertiK is a company that leads blockchain security by pioneering the use of cutting-edge Formal Verification technology on smart contracts and blockchains. Certik has done more than 220 audits, secured around 8 billion dollars in value. The company has helped top exchanges like Binance, OKEx, and Huobi working on security. Also, top DeFi protocols like PancakeSwap, Terra, and Safepal have been audited by CertiK.

In order to raise the level of security to the highest, SIX Network has chosen a leading auditor like CertiK to ensure that code security is top-notch. Now the company has published an official audited report for Definix.

What is a CertiK Report?

  • A document describing in detail an in-depth analysis of a particular piece(s) of source code provided to CertiK by a Client.
  • An organized collection of testing results, analysis, and inferences made about the structure, implementation, and overall best practices of a particular piece of source code.
  • A representation that a client of CertiK has completed a round of auditing with the intention to increase the quality of the company/product’s IT infrastructure and or source code.

The Highlights of the Audited Report:

CertiK has found no critical issues on Definix codes. Only a few major and medium issues have been found and the team already handled those issues by following CertiK team’s advice. That means the security level of Definix is highly improved.

For technical details about the issues and how to handle them, we have done just as described below;

  • Definix Core Contract Security Assessment

(March 26th, 2021 — March 29th, 2021)

Severity: Medium

Description: The DOMAIN_SEPARATOR used by the contract is only computed once during its constructor whereby the current chainid is evaluated once. Due to the separator being assigned once utilizes the main chain's chainid thus enabling a single permit to be used on both chains.

Issue Resolve: The security vulnerability that arises from this exhibit would only manifest if the Binance Chain deployed contracts in forks and produces a satellite chain on which the signatures could be replayed.

SIX Network’s Final Verdict: Many other Yield Farming platforms forked BSC’s famous model with this being in the originality. It is almost impossible to happen because only Binance Chain has the full ability to reorganized and produces a satellite chain.

  • LP Farm Contracts Security Assessment

(March 26th, 2021 — March 29th, 2021)

Severity: Major

Description: The FLAME token is minted whenever deposits are made to the first pool defined which is meant to represent the Finix token staking pool where users are able to mint flame tokens and consequently burn them on exit.

Issue Resolve: The amount of FLAME tokens are properly burned on an emergencyWithdraw thus alleviating this exhibit.

SIX Network’s Final Verdict: An additional logic path, as recommended, was coded in the emergencyWithdraw function that burns the corresponding amount of FLAME tokens if the _pid is equal to 0.

CertiK Security Leaderboard

The CertiK Security Leaderboard makes the security expertise freely accessible to everyone. Enabling a safe, transparent DeFi ecosystem for all. A major step towards this goal is giving investors the tools they need to conduct their own research into Definix and other projects.
